We will have a town-meeting style discussion
on security and safety in the neighborhood.
The new 16th district captain, Bernard
Gollotti, Senior Associate Vice President
for Public Safety at Drexel University
and John Fenton from the University City
will be there. Other speakers have been
invited.
We will also hear a brief presentation
from Amanda Benner of UC Green about their
proposal to renovate the Cochran Triangle
at 37th and Lancaster, and a report from
the PVCA Zoning committee about a very
important decision in the legal battle
with Resources for Human Development.

Green Arbor Day Community Tree Planting
Registration starts at 10am at 34th and
Lancaster.
Join UC Green for this spring tradition
in University City and help put more green
on the streets! The planting
of up to 50 trees will take place on North
34th Street, targeted as a corridor
that needs more greening in Powelton Village
Civic Association's greening plan.
Tools and supervision will be provided
for volunteers.
