Daniel Cowgill was a successful farmer in Dover, Kent Co., Del.  In 1860, he had real estate holdings worth $20,000 and $1,000 in personal property.  He wife was Mary Cowgill.  Their son, Clayton Cowgill and his wife Lydia M.
