year-old retired carpet manufacturer who was born in Ireland. (He was 18 years her senior.) They had five children between the ages of 4
and 20.

Garden. Anna had 6 children. She reported her age as 59. In 1900, she listed her age as 45. She was already widowed and was living at
3619 Fairmount with all six of her children who were between 15 and 24. She was the widow of Peter Hogan who was born
in Ireland and worked on the railroad.
He apparently died in his 30s between 1870 and 1880.
