3701-19: “Circa 1880 two-and-one-half story Second Empire style doubles; stone facade over brick. First-floor Victorian porches; some altered-(3703, 3705-07, 3709, 3719); four registers, slate- shingled mansard (3701, 3705-07, 3709 asphalt); slightly arched dormer windowheads. All built by the same developer.”

1876, June: Deed to 3711, 3713, 3715, 3717, and 3719 transferred from Joseph Campion to Life Insurance Company American.

1876, June: Deed to 3713 and 3715 transferred from Louis M. Simpson to Alexander William.

            Alexander Whilldin was owner of a company that sold cotton, wool and yarns at 126 Chestnut St.  In 1881, he lived at the corner of N. 15th and Jefferson.  Isaac Hazlehurst was a lawyer with an office at 508 Walnut St. and living at 2020 Spruce in 1881.

 

1879, October: Deed transferred from Alexander & Jane (wife) Whildin to George H. Hill.

            In 1900, Henry, Mary and Bulah lived at 4911 Spring Garden St.  Henry was widowed and listed as a wall paper merchant.

            In 1900, they lived at 438 Preston St.  In 1920, they lived at 4401 Baltimore Ave.  Thomas and George were merchants dealing in meats.

            George Boon is the son of Harry and Ida Boom.  In 1910, he, Emma and George, Jr. lived with his parents at 3607 Hamilton St.  In 1890 and 1900, they lived at 3827 Hamilton St.  When George and Emma were first married (c1880), they lived at 2237 Catherine St., a nice two-story row house.
